DIY: Sequin Embellished Valentine’s Day Cards
I’m notorious for never getting Holiday cards in the mail in time. My Christmas cards usually arrive around New Years and you might get your Birthday card the month after. I’m really telling on myself here but I just mailed my niece and nephew’s Valentine’s Day cards… that I purchased for them last year! Yes, I bought them last year, addressed them, added stickers to the envelope and NEVER mailed them. The cards have been sitting on my desk for an entire year!! #DontJudge
This year I’m determined to craft my Valentine’s AND get them in the mail on time. This project is quick and easy and adds a very glamorous touch to your love notes.
Materials: Blank Cards*, Sequin Trim, Glue, Scissors and a Pencil
*I purchase these blank cards from Paper Source (20 for $6.75) but you can create your own cards by folding over a piece of construction paper or card stock.
Use a pencil to hand write your personal message
Trace over your letters with glue
Add the sequin trim over your glue and allow time to dry
This is such a cute idea! And I love the simplicity of it 😀
Fabulous post~

Very sweet craft. And who doesn’t love sequins? I bet they’d really POP against a black card! 🙂

Those cards are so cute! Also, I’m so happy to find someone who’s as bad about mailing cards as I am!!! I have piles and piles of postcards that I’ve bought with all the best intentions but never mailed.

Ha ha. I’m the same way. But my biggest problem is finding a card that says exactly what I’m feeling for each person. So now I prefer to make thing myself. GREAT POST!!

Feeling crafty? Feeling in love?
