Summer is almost here and thus sandal season!!! I’m over here getting ready. I through out almost all of my sandals from last year and I’m updating with some fresh new styles. I loved these white flats from Sole Society, but obviously they needed some jewels. DIY ALERT! Sandals + sew on jewels + glue = bejewesled and fabulous flats. Check out this super easy DIY video.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I’m letting my Mom take over this episode of Kristen Explains It All and share with y’all the life lessons she’s been sharing with me for the past 30 + years. She’s my go to person when I’m searching for a few words of wisdom. My Mom has always been very blunt and honest with me. She never sugar coated life and in doing so prepared me to deal with reality of being an adult. She’s also pretty fab and pretty funny so I wanted her to share her advice with you guys. Life according to my Mom. Enjoy!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL THE MOM’S, GRANDMA’S, AUNTIES and THOSE PLAYING MOM OUT THERE! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Spring has sprung! Well for most of us anyway. March 20th marked the official 1st full day of the new season and I’m here to celebrate with 5 fun ways to welcome Spring… even if it’s still snowing in your city. What do you think? Are you ready for the change in seasons?!?
This project has basically been a dream come true. I’m hosting parties and inviting the entire internet to come party! In each episode, I’ll throw together a new themed party. I’ll give you decor, food + beverage and tons of fabulous DIY inspiration. I kicked off the series by hosting a few of my friends for my favorite meal of the day… BRUNCH! Who doesn’t love a good brunch?!?
I created the perfect brunch table for my guest by using a closet door… yep! Covered it with stripped fabric I picked up from the fabric store… yep, so easy!
Created a fab garland with leaves from the yard and decorated it with fresh fruit! And topped the whole thing off with this AMAZING plantalier… get it plant + chandelier?!?
Seriously there’s a WHOLE LOTTA YouTube fun going on and I really hope you enjoy it. So just to recap… watch my fab brunch party video here, watch the DIY floral chandelier here and to learn how to put together the perfect mimosa bar watch here.
YEA!!! LET’S PARTY!

So the Today Show happened today… yea that Today Show!!!!! Honestly I can’t even say if making an appearance on the Today Show is even on my bucket list because it’s just so beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I was honored when the show asked me to come on and represent YouTube creators as part of their Valentine’s themed What’s Clickin’ segment. Obviously, yes!!!! I made my way down to Rockefeller Plaza and had a grand time getting crafty with Natalie, Tamron, Willie and of course my weather man hero, Al Roker! (Seriously Al!!!!!!!!)
Click here to watch the segment. Honestly, the. best. day. I just had to share! xo
This is like a week of throwbacks here at Miss Kris. But I guess like they say, it all comes back around again eventually. Last year I created this fun little DIY lipstick print for Valentine’s (here). I loved it so much it’s actually become a statement piece in my apartment. I recreated it again this year in video for for my YouTube channel because hey, why not?!?! Click here to watch and stick around to the end of the video for a playlist with more fab Valentine’s Day crafty inspiration from other members of the KIN Community.
Happy Valentine’s Day, lovers! xo
I had to go deep into the #MissKrisTV YouTube archives for this project. As many of us are preparing for the big shift from Winter to Spring (March 20th), we’re preparing our wardrobes and pulling back out those lighter weight outerwear options. A cozy wrap is one of my favorites! It’s perfect for a LA Winter …or a sunny Spring day in some other parts of the country.
Last year I made a fun, no sew blanket Cape video using a different fabric. This season I updated it with a fab houndstooth print I found at my local fabric store. I’m in to all thinks print and black and white right now! Click HERE to watch the video. Hopefully you’re inspired to make one for yourself this year. It’s the perfect way to stay warm and cozy.
