  1. What a great idea, Kristen! I just love the final result! Do you know if it’s dishwasher safe? xo Mila

    • My guess would be no. I don’t have a dishwasher (yes I have to do everything by hand ugggg) but I would guess the paint would come off. Plus I wouldn’t want the paint mixing with the other dishes I eat off of. I’d say they’re decorative and since wine glasses can be so cheap (found these at ikea + the $1 store) I’d make them for one big party and then throw them out if you, like me, despise hand washing wine glasses! lol

      • Oh my gosh no dishwasher? I would revolt and only use paper plates paired with super classy red solo cups!

I like the IKEA idea, that is so smart. I will have to try this idea for our next dinner party!

  9. This would unify a set of mismatched stemware. Question, where did you get the paint?
    I really, really like them and it’s a must-do.

    • I picked it up at Michael’s. Martha Stewart makes it, but a company called PLAID also makes the metallic paint and it works jsut as well! Such a great idea to unify mismatched stemware šŸ™‚
