No Sweat: Embellished Sweatshirt DIY
Embellished sweatshirts are one of the hottest trends this Fall. In the past, I have been a big supporter of fancy sweats (here, here and to complete the look… here) and obviously I’m happy that this trend is sticking around. There are about a zillion ways to glam up a boring old sweatshirt so let this serve as your warning… there will more than likely be more embellished sweatshirt DIY projects to come! In the meantime, sequins and sweats…
MATERIALS: Sweatshirt (available here from Old Navy), Sequin Fabric, Fabric Glue and Scissors
TIP: If you’re a DIY perfectionist, it might be helpful to use a piece of paper to create a patter of the area you wish to cover
Apply fabric glue to the area of your sweatshirt you wish to cover with fabric
Firmly place your fabric over your glue making sure your fabric lays flat
Use your glue to create a seam along the edges, allow time to dry then uses your scissors to trim away excess fabric

This is so beautiful and easy to make! And I think the grey of the sweatshirt brings out the glimmering sequin fabric even more. Love it!
