Recently I was asked by TOMS Eyewear to host a DIY dinner party at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. I was thrilled! TOMS is such a fantastic brand, with such a fantastic message and a fabulous collection of eyewear. Did you know they even had a collection of sunglasses?!??! Well, yes they do and it’s one of my favorites. I wear them all the time and always get compliments. The best part about the eyewear collection is that for every pair you purchase, TOMS helps give sight to a person in need. One for One. 285 million individuals are blind or visually impaired, but 80% of those cases can be corrected or prevented with eye care. Your purchase helps with this process!
Personalizing your sunnies is one of my favorite things to do. Embellish them with sequins or paint. Click here , here and here for past embellished eyewear projects.
Wrapping them with thread is also a great way to personalize your look. The metallic gold thread matched the leopard print I hand drew on the case.
