DIY: Studded Skinny Cuff

Glitter N Glue DIY Skinny CuffI’m starting to notice these skinny cuff /bracelets thingys appearing all over the place. This weekend I obsessed over my friend Alice’s Giles & Brother Skinny Railroad Spike Cuff (here).  These skinny cuffs are the perfect addition to my collection of all gold everything arm party (<- are people still even using that word?!?).

This project is chic, super easy and you can make an entire arm full for just a few bucks. To complete this project just follow this simple DIY equation: earring + earring = bracelet!

Glitter N Glue DIY Skinny Cuff MATERIALSMaterials: Hoop Earrings, Earring Studs, Glue, Nippers

Glitter N Glue DIY Skinny Cuff NIPUse your nippers to remove the findings on the hoop earring.

Tip: Wider hoops work better that skinny ones. I purchased these from Forever 21 (here), but if you can’t get your hands on a pair try using a light metal bracelet or simple bend a thick wire to fit around your wrist.

Glitter N Glue DIY Skinny Cuff REMOVERepeat the process and remove the findings on the studs. Be sure the back of the earring is as flat a possible.

Glitter N Glue DIY Skinny Cuff GLUEUse the glue to apply the studs to the end of the hoop earring. Allow time to dry.

The moment I saw this, I knew I had to Reblog it from Glitter ‘N Glue and share it as much as I could! Of course, if I were to recreate this DIY it would be a little different and represent me. The same goes to Allie, we would each make it our own. I would prefer to find silver resources, since gold isn’t much of my color, but I can guarantee Allie would stick to gold! The best thing about us is that we can wear each other’s clothes & accessories, but they will be styled in a completely different way!

Thanks to Glitter ‘N Glue we have a new project to complete to somewhere within our hectic schedules!

Brilliant!!!!!!!! p.s Is there a trick that I don’t know about using E-6000? Every thing I have ever made with that just falls apart. Any advise would be amazing.
