DIY: Metallic Wood Hangers

Glitter N Glue DIY Spray Paint Metallic Wood HangersSpring is almost here and thus Spring cleaning has begun. First up… my closet! One cannot begin the process of purchasing a new Spring wardrobe until you figure out what you have, what you need, what fits and well.. what doesn’t. While organizing, I felt now is the best time to also give the hangers in my closet a makeover. One key to an organized closet is uniformed hangers. A coat of metallic silver spray paint is sure to give my closet the most glam Spring cleaning yet!

There are so many makeover options for your wood hangers. You could paint them neon, decoupage them, gold leaf them (ummmm hello Krylon gold leafing pen!) or wrap them in colorful thread, and on and on. Check out my Pinterest pinspiration board (here) for more fun DIY ideas.

    • YES! I love the random colors idea. I think I’ll give those a try later in the Summer/ Fall. The great thing about the silver is that I can paint over ’em when I’m ready for a new look!!! xo

This is a creative idea. I would have to get some wooden hangers first. I like the above suggestion of different color hangers. It can be sorted by piece; i.e blue for dresses.. 🙂
