FaBOOlous DIY: Insect Brooch Inspired By Lanvin

Adding an insect brooch to your wardrobe is a quick and easy way to be a little faBOOlous this October.

Materials: Bugs (I picked up these spiders from Michael’s Craft Store), Magnets, Glue

I added a little gold paint to my spider for a pop of color. Remember be creative! You can paint your spider any color you want…hot pink, silver, etc. Who says spiders have to be black?!?!

Add a little glue to the back of one of the magnets and attach the insect to the magnet.

To wear, simply put the bottom magnet inside your shirt. The magnet attached to the insect will connect with the magnet on the other side of the fabric and stay secure. The best part about using a magnet on your brooch is that you will not damage your clothes. No holes!

Love this idea! I was trying to think of a way to attach these pins I bought to accessorize a dress for a wedding without damaging the material! Thanks! Oh… I’m making this too! :o)
